New updates and improvements to the Genoverse
Below are some of the items the Genopets team has worked on over the past few weeks. We’re pulling back the curtain to show you, fellow Genovians, what goes into making a game.

Powerup your Genopet — Gen 1 Refined Genotype Crystals are here
We have gone from sketch to finalized crystal assets that shimmer as they spin. These crystals are tied to core elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water). If you participated in a giveaway or are eligible for a crystal, check your wallets for the recent airdrop.
Rejoice — Calibration phase has ended
The metadata update is now complete. To make your Genopet special everywhere it’s shown, we went the extra mile. Instead of the typical still image for most NFTs, we added movement to bring your Genopet to life. Check it out on-chain on Solscan or see other listed Genopets on Magic Eden.
Learn about your Digital Spirit Animal — Pet bios and attributes are live
For those with Genesis Genopets, you can now learn more about them by navigating to genesis.genopets.me/my-pet to check out their description and the attributes that make them unique.

- Finished code on an epic parallax login experience to immerse you from the very start of the game
- Completed initial sketches and emission maps on baby Genopets — so cute 😍
- Developed high poly previews of child Genopets
- Drafted early concept art for habitats
- Sketched various options for habitat foliage
- Wrote and tested the procedural generation system for habitats
- Animated interface for private beta login screens — link
- Compiled epic sound effects to bring the animated login experience to life — link
