The P2P Marketplace marks an exciting opportunity for Web3 Genovians and a significant leap forward for the gaming industry. This innovative platform empowers players to trade minted items among themselves, forming the foundation of the Player-Created Economy.

What sets the P2P Marketplace apart is its inclusivity – it doesn't just facilitate transactions among Web3 players; it opens up possibilities for every Genopets app user. Previously, players could only list their items on Magic Eden for transactions within the Web3 community. Now, with the P2P Marketplace, players can showcase their items for sale to a broader audience, welcoming purchases from any and every player with the Genopets app.

Listing an item to the P2P Marketplace is super easy. Here’s a breakdown of the process ⬇️


Step 1

Sign Into Mainframe

You can do this either on mobile or using a computer. Sign in with the wallet associated with your Genopets account.


Step 2

Go To ‘Marketplace’

Click on the ‘Marketplace’ tab. Here you will be able to view all items that can be minted and listed by players. Categories of items include: Augments, Cosmetic Crystals, Genotype Crystals, Reagents, Terraform Seeds, and Boosts. 

Augments, Cosmetic Crystals, and Boosts can be purchased by ANY player. When listed they will be accessible via the Mainframe Marketplace, where they can be purchased for USDC, and the In-App Marketplace, where they can be purchased for Qubits. 

Genotype Crystals, Reagents, and Terraform Seeds can only be purchased via the Mainframe Marketplace because their utility is specifically for Crafting, a Web3 feature only accessible to players with wallets. 


Step 3

Click On The Item You Want To List


Step 4

Click ‘List’


Step 5

Set Quantity


Step 6

Set List Price

You can view the current floor price under ‘Best Price’. 

Note: The final list price will be slightly higher than the amount you type in due to the 5% royalty fee. The price you type in is the price YOU will receive when another player purchases the item. The final list price is the price the PLAYER will see the item listed as on the Marketplace.


Step 7

Click ‘List’ and Sign Transaction

Once you click ‘List’ and sign the transaction the item will be added to the Marketplace and will be available for purchase by other players. 

Augments, Cosmetic Crystals, and Boosts will be available via the Mainframe and In-App Marketplaces.

Genotype Crystals, Reagents, and Terraform Seeds will be available via the Mainframe Marketplace.


Step 8

Wait For Another Player To Buy Your Item

Your SFT has been successfully added to the Marketplace. Now just sit back, relax, and wait for another player to buy the item from you.
