If you've been following Genopets' journey, you might remember a curious event when we launched the Road To Market graphic. Among the winding roads and exciting developments, there was a particular pathway that alone – a pathway with coded text announcing Arcade Mode.
Arcade mode unlocks an entirely new dimension of fun within the Genoverse. Step into the fast-paced world of endless running as you dash left and right on the track with your beloved Genopet collecting crystals to increase your score. Utilize Augments and Level Up your Genopet to boost your chances of topping the leaderboard and collect chest shards to win prizes. Arcade Mode brings a whole new level of competition to the game and more ways to play with your Genopet after a long day of banking steps.
In-App Shop Grand Opening!
Explore an array of never-before-seen items, including food, toys, and special items like the Morphosphere in our Specialty Shop. This update introduces the in-app currency purchased with fiat that will power the P2P marketplace, Qubits, which allows you to acquire exclusive items and experiences in the Genoverse.
The In-App Shop is the first step towards the full P2P marketplace that will launch at the completion of the Road to Market. Currently, items purchasable in the shop like the Morphosphere are not Craftable or originated on chain. We are testing the implementation of In-App Purchases and will roll out the full P2P Marketplace experience with the next release.
Buy Energy In-App to Energize Your Experience
This one is really special. The Shop also introduces an exciting new feature - the ability to buy Energy with Qubits. But, just like buying Energy on Mainframe, purchasing Energy in-app burns KI token contributing to the Genoverse token economy. When Energy is purchased in app, the app burns KI in the same way buying Energy with KI works in Mainframe when you purchase directly, but they are doing this without SOL in their wallet. This is possible with a gas-less token swap converting USDC to KI, then burning KI. The entire transaction happens in one click from the app - You can see it here on chain.
Nourish & Delight with Ease!
Feeding your Genopet so many nuts driving you... nuts? That's what Meals are for!
As part of the In-App Shop, a new category of food and toys—Meals and Premium Toys—have been released that will make it a breeze to pamper your digital friend. These new items will quickly turn your Genopet's Nutrition or Joy rings green, making it easier to keep your Genopet in a good mood with less feeding and playing throughout the day.
Banking, Simplified!
Keeping track of your steps is now easier than ever. The updated bank button provides you with essential information, including the remaining time in your day for step banking. This is especially handy for globetrotting Genovians who need to keep their original timezone in mind.
XP & Step Goal Returns to Home!
Genopets values your feedback, and in response to your requests, the XP & Step Goal feature has made a triumphant return to the home screen. This allows you to easily monitor your progress towards the next level. Now, you can stay motivated and on top of your Genopet's development goals without missing a beat.
