What is DRiP?
For those new to the Solana ecosystem, DRiP is a cutting-edge social discovery platform where projects have the opportunity to drop weekly NFTs to their users, akin to a weekly newsletter. This platform is designed to foster community engagement and reward loyal supporters.
The Drop
Genopets first-ever drop will be used to launch our new collection of Limited Edition Aqua Genopets. The first on-chain collection of Genopets on Solana since the launch of Genesis Genopets. Aqua Genopets are summoned as Stage 1 (Baby Genopets) with a special edition Aqua Texture only available through the DRiP campaign. This collection carries significant aesthetic value within the Genoverse with a supply limited to <1% of all participants in the campaign.
How It All Works
Step 1: cNFTs were airdropped into the wallets of DRiP members in a Showcase Drop on 10/4. If you weren’t already part of DRiP, waste no time – sign up now at DRiP.haus and join the Genopets Channel. These cNFTs will carry a rarity rating – 95% Common, 4% Rare, 1% Legendary – directly influencing your potential prize.
Step 2: Upon receiving your cNFT, download the Genopets app at genopets.me/drip and create your game account. Don't forget to use the code "DRIP" during signup. This will grant you an exclusive welcome pack of toys and food to pamper your Genopet with.
Step 3: Only active players will be able to claim their prize so make sure you start playing by banking your steps once you create your account. Then claim your prize at genopets.me/drip after our snapshot on October 12th.
A Second Chance: Genopets Channel Drop
If you missed the showcase drop, a second drop is set for October 6, 2023, on the Genopets DRiP Channel. Only players following the Genopets DRiP Channel will be dropped another card with new artwork into their wallet. This gives players a second chance to secure a Legendary or Rare card if they missed out the first time. Trust us, you'll want to snag a higher-tier card.
Claiming Your Prizes
On October 12, 2023, we'll take a snapshot of the player data, and you'll be able to claim your prizes at genopets.me/drip. If you've already created your game account, simply click "I have a Genopets account." If not, click "Claim Prize," download the app, and remember to use the code "DRIP" to unlock the special welcome pack.
Next, go back to genopets.me/drip to link your wallet, which holds the DRiP Drop cNFT, to your game account. If you used a different wallet for DRiP from your Genopets game account, you’ll need to move your cNFT Genopet Cards into the wallet that is connected to your game account.
IMPORTANT: Your eagerly anticipated prize will be delivered directly to your mobile app game account in the app. You can mint to chain later from the Genopets Mainframe to have it in your wallet, but after the snapshot prizes will first be distributed in-app.
Remember, to claim your prize, you must:
Have participated in the Genopets drop on the DRiP Showcase on 10/4 or 10/6 to receive a Legendary, Rare, or Common Genopet Card
Visit Genopets.me/drip after the drop to claim your prize after the snapshot on 10/12
Be actively playing Genopets by banking your steps to be eligible for the prize. If you haven't joined yet, sign up for Genopets using the invite code "DRIP" to receive a welcome pack of special food and toys for your beloved Genopet
