The Battle Awaits: Face Off Against the Genopets Team!
For the next two weeks—starting September 14, 2023— you'll have the chance to test your mettle against the formidable Genopets team themselves. It's a showdown of epic proportions, where you get to pit your skills and strategies against the very creators of your favorite virtual companions. Are you up for the challenge?
How It Works
Whenever you create or join a Public Step Battle – without wagering any precious Energy – keep your eyes peeled for our team members. You can easily identify them by the shiny ⭐️ emoji adorning the start of their pet names.
Not sure who’s on the team? Send a message in battle chat to find out!
If a team member like Jay or Albert ends up in your battle and you’ve invited at least 3 other people to join, you’re eligible to win a random Energy Boost (10%, 20% or 50% bonus) to use on your next big bank.
Prizes will be distributed at the end of every battle automatically as long as you meet the criteria. Check your inventory if you placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in order to claim your prize.
To keep things fair and spread the love, each player will only be able to win a maximum of 3 Energy Boosts during the campaign.

Where did you get all these Energy Boosts?
In case you were wondering, the team has been crafting our own Energy Boosts for weeks now building up a stockpile of 100s of Boosts to give back to the community. We’ve also bought a lot of the Boosts that were for sale on Magic Eden to stockpile the inventory. This is a player-created economy and we’re players too. We just want to find ways to give back everything being crafted from the treasury to the most active members of the community.
