New updates and improvements to the Genoverse
Below are some of the items the Genopets team has worked on over the past few weeks. We’re pulling back the curtain to show you, fellow Genovians, what goes into making a game.
Putting the ‘U’ in Dual-Token — Get ready for your part in our KI Token Launch
We’re partnering with Strata and allowing YOU to participate in discovering the fair market price of KI.
The initial supply of KI will be sold in our launch and airdropped to GENE stakers on June 20th, 2022 at 15:00 UTC through June 23th, 2022 at 15:00 UTC.

- Tokens Available: 20,000,000 KI (⅓ of the initial KI Token supply)
- KI Vested Airdrop to GENE Stakers: 20,000,000 KI (⅓ of the initial KI Token supply)
- Protocol Designated Liquidity: 20,000,000 KI (⅓ of the initial KI Token supply)
- Starting Price: 0.50 USDC
- Starting Supply: 40,000,000 + (20,000,000 / 90) KI Token vested each day for 90 days from the airdrop to GENE stakers

Baby Genopets can walk from birth, so why shouldn’t their hatching be as mobile as they are? Now you’ll be able to mint your adorable baby Genopets in-app ⬇️
Take being one with nature to the next level — Genopets become one with the elements 🤯
Genopets are so in tune with the elements that they can temporarily morph into them! Our talented Unity team has updated our pet shader so we can map both colors and textures on our pets. This means your Genopet can have metal, wood, stone, fire, and water states. Any idea what those could be useful for…? 😏
A few other highlights:
- We ended the drought in the Genoverse with our Water Crystal NFT Drop 🌧
- Our design team has been working on some EPIC characters you’ll meet during your quests throughout the Genoverse. Have a look at Jabari coming to life:
- You may not speak the Genopet language, but you’ll have no trouble understanding your familiar. Our team has been working hard on pet expressions so you’ll always know how your Genopet is feeling
- We hope you’re ready to play 🤾♀️ Check out one of the new toys for your Genopet
- Craving the magic of watching your Habitat come to life over and over again? Have no fear! You’ll be able to replay your minting sequence and watch your habitat procedurally generate as many times as you like
- Our dev team has been working on the invite code backend so we can get you all into the Genoverse 🤩
- Like any proud parent, we know you want photos of your baby, so we’ve added a “Download Image” button on your pet detail page
- And did you notice our refacing of the bank button and energy button?
