Hey there, Genovians! With our latest Roadmap—The Road To Market—we are officially in the home stretch of Phase II-Whitelist Beta!
What does that mean? It means that The Road To Market is our final road before we enter Building Phase III. The beginning of Phase III will mark the shift from Whitelist Beta to Public Beta, removing the need for invite codes and allowing anyone and everyone to summon their Genopet and begin playing immediately 😍
The remainder of Phase II will include the implementation of challenges and achievement features, as well as an in-app marketplace.
The Road To Market Breakdown
Augment Stats
We're thrilled to announce that the first feature we will be shipping on The Road To Market is Augment Stats! With Augments, players can enhance their Genopets' attack, speed, and defense stats, giving them an edge in the upcoming Step Battles and turn-based PVP Battles. As soon as Augment Stats are launched, players can access detailed stat information for each Augment, enabling them to plan their battle strategies with precision. So, get ready to level up your game and take on the competition like never before! Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the launch of Step Battles in Phase II and PVP Battles in Phase III.
Expedite and Re-roll
The second set of features we'll be launching includes the ability to expedite Crafting times and Reroll Crafted Items. We know that waiting for Crafting times can be a drag, and may especially be when you're itching to take down an opponent when Battle launches. That's why we're giving players the option to expedite Crafting times for a fee. Now, you can get your hands on those crucial items faster and start battling sooner!
But wait, there's more! Crafting is a game of chance, and sometimes luck just doesn't go your way. With our Re-roll feature, you can give yourself a better shot at getting the Item you were hoping for. Say you're Crafting a Wing Augment - you know you'll get a Wing by following the Recipe and applying the right Reagent, but you don't know what Style or Rarity it will be. If you're not happy with the result, you can use a Re-roll to recraft the Augment and increase your odds of getting the outcome you want. Best of all, once you use a Re-roll, you're guaranteed not to Craft the same item again, increasing your odds of Crafting every other possible outcome.

Since Augmentation launched, your Genopets have been getting fresh new looks and we think it's only fair that our app home screen gets one too! So, during our Road to Market, we’ll be redesigning the home screen with you in mind!
As our game continues to grow, we understand that it can be difficult to navigate through all the new features we're adding. That's why we're giving our home screen a fresh new look and feel, making it easier for you to find everything you need to take your gameplay to the next level. With the updated home screen, you'll have more space to explore all the new features we're introducing.
Streaks
With Streaks, players will be rewarded for their consistent behavior in the game. As you continue to complete your daily streaks, you'll earn rewards, such as exclusive items and other exciting bonuses. We believe that Streaks will encourage players to engage with the game on a daily basis, building a strong and supportive community of dedicated players.
In-App Augment Recycling
Have a bunch of Common or Uncommon Augments that you don't know what to do with? Fear not! With Augment Recycling, players can now combine multiple Augments of the same Style to create one superior Augment of differing Rarity or Variant. This feature will launch in-app to start bringing the Crafting experience to the mobile game. Say goodbye to cluttered inventories and hello to more powerful Augments. This feature is perfect for players who want to streamline their collection and dominate in Battle. Whether you're a seasoned collector or a casual player, Augment Recycling is a game-changer.
In-App Purchases
With this new feature, players will be able to purchase items directly within the app, without the need for a crypto wallet. For the first time ever, players will be able to buy items without leaving the app, making the experience more seamless and convenient. This feature is the precursor to our upcoming in-app player-to-player marketplace, which will provide an even wider range of items for purchase.
Step Battle
Get ready to take your gameplay to the next level with Step Battles! This is the first feature where Augment Stats will come into play, adding a new layer of strategy and competition to the game. Step Battles are like Fitbit challenges but with a unique Genopets twist. Compete against your friends in a race to see who can Bank the most steps over a specified period of time, while utilizing your Genopet's Augments to help determine your final score. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, Step Battles are the perfect way to challenge yourself and your friends to reach new heights. So, put on your walking shoes, invite your friends to Genopets, and get ready to battle!
Player-to-Player Marketplace
P2P Marketplace will be a game-changer for Genopets and the industry at large. We’re working to create a seamless App-to-Web3 buying experience that will eliminate the friction of Web3 for mobile players making in-app purchases of NFTs in games. This one-stop shop for all things Genopets will be the perfect place for players to explore and discover unique items made by other players, all without needing a crypto wallet. Mobile players will make in-app purchases in their local currency to acquire items being sold in Web3 marketplaces like Magic Eden. The marketplace is designed for all players, regardless of their experience with blockchain technology. It's a vital step in our mission to make NFT games accessible to everyone.
