Recap of Last Hunt
For those of you who weren’t here for our last treasure hunt, here’s a quick recap:
Each week players raced to decode a series of ciphers to receive one of 5,000 Unrefined Crystals that they refined and combined in week six to mint a Genesis Habitat.
Many of the ciphers included an alien language — which you’ll probably want to familiarize yourself with again 😉If you don’t know the language, join our Discord to get help from previous players.
What You Need To Know About The New Hunt
- The Treasure Hunt kicked off on Tuesday October 4 @ 8am PT/3pm UTC on Mainframe
- The Treasure Hunt is open for anyone to play, regardless of if you have a habitat or an invite to the game
- There are NO LIMITS as to how many winners a puzzle can have
- For every puzzle you complete, you’ll be able to mint one of the missing pages from Alkali’s Crafting Notebook. You’ll need a little bit of sol for gas and 180KI for each mint
- Collect 5 pages (one from each week) and combine w/ Crystals, KI, & GENE in the Legendary Crafting Lab to craft a random mystery item
- Items include the first-ever LEGENDARY AUGMENT in the Genoverse, which will never be craftable again, and other never-before-minted items

All the items are never before released SFTs of different rarities
The Legendary Augment from the Treasure Hunt will have a MAX supply of 300 and will never be able to be created again. This makes it one of the rarest items to ever exist in the game to date

Mint each week’s notebook page multiple times — remember each mint will cost you an additional 180KI + gas—and have enough sets of pages, Crystals, KI & GENE to craft as many times as you want.
The Low-Down On Legendary Augments
- Augment Rarity — from lowest to highest: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, Mythic
- Unlike Common/Uncommon/Rare augments, Legendary Augments are special in that there will only be a fixed # of each type of Legendary Augments ever released
- For the Treasure Hunt specifically, we’re giving away 300 x Legendry Augments, which will only be available in this Treasure Hunt
- The Treasure Hunt’s Legendary augment will be the first Legendary augment ever released to the public

What are the prizes? Who will win?
Everyone who solves all 5 puzzles by the end of the Treasure Hunt will win. Players will get access to a Legendary Lab and get to craft at least one never before minted item — the rarest being one of the 300 Legendary Augments.
What are Legendary Augments? How Rare are they?
There are only 300 Legendary Augments available in the Treasure Hunt. There are 3,218 Genesis Genopets. How rare is Legendary? Do the math. The crafting probability is not published, but the total supply of the Legendary Augment is fixed. Augments play a major role in battle. Read more about Augments here.
Wen Treasure Hunt?
The Hunt begins Tuesday, October 4 @ 3PM UTC and will last for 6 weeks — 5 weeks of puzzles and 1 week for the final Legendary Crafting Experience.
How long does each puzzle last?
Puzzle 1 will last for 2 weeks, allowing the community more time to achieve prizes from the community challenge. Puzzles 2–5 will last for 1 week and there is no limit to how many people can solve and mint, but you won’t be able to claim that page anymore after that week.
Where will Treasure Hunt take place?
https://mainframe.genopets.me/ will have a link to the Treasure Hunt (Recipe Hunt) when it is live.
Who can play?
The Treasure Hunt is open for anyone to play, regardless of if you have a Habitat or an invite to the game.
What do I do after I complete each puzzle?
For every puzzle you complete, you’ll be able to mint one of the missing pages from Alkali’s Crafting Notebook. You’ll need a little bit of sol for gas and 180 KI for each mint.
Do I need to solve the puzzle every week to win?
Yes, you will need to collect at least 5 pages (one from each week) after solving the puzzles and redeem them to get access to a Legendary Crafting Lab where you can combine Crystals, KI, & GENE / sGENE to craft your prize.
Where do I get KI / GENE / Crystals to play?
KI and GENE are available on multiple exchanges or you can use Jupiter: https://jup.ag/, our favorite aggregator. Crystals will be needed at the end of the Treasure Hunt and can be bought on Magic Eden: https://magiceden.io/marketplace/genopets_genotype_crystals
Is there a limit to the number of entries I can submit?
You can enter as many times as you want. Each week when you solve the puzzle you can mint multiple copies of that page. If you collect multiple sets of 5 pages (a chapter) you can enter multiple times and increase your chances of winning a Legendary Augment.
How many winners are there in the Treasure Hunt?
There are no limits on the number of winners. We offer multi-level prizes so everyone can win :)
What do I need to win the Legendary Augments?
You must have all 5 missing pages (one from each week), and you will also need KI, GENE, and Crystals to craft a random mystery item in the special lab. Not everyone will win the Legendary Augment, but everyone will win something.
