Ready to stake GENE, but not sure how? Don’t worry! We’ve put together this simple step-by-step guide to get you started.

Step 1: Go to Genopets Staking on Mainframe
Step 2: Connect your Solana wallet
Step 3: Make sure you’re holding GENE Token
If you need to add GENE to your wallet, use Jupiter Exchange to swap your preferred token for GENE. Swapping SPL tokens for GENE is built right into our staking website too.
Step 4: Click “STAKE GENE”
On this page, you can buy and stake GENE, see the total GENE rewards distributed thus far, the total amount of GENE currently being staked, and the price of GENE. Click “STAKE GENE” to get started.
Step 5: Select your desired lock-up period
Select your desired lock-up period. The more GENE you stake and the longer you choose to lock the higher the estimated annual rewards.
Step 6: Select the amount of GENE you want to stake
Stake your GENE Token to earn rewards from the allocated reward pool. GENE staking rewards earned are locked for 1 year by default but can be withdrawn without lock as sGENE. sGENE is usable in-game but has no protocol-designated liquidity. Synthetic GENE, or sGENE, is for the sole purpose of in-game use. After sGENE is used, it is burned.
Step 7: Check out your vesting progress & pending rewards
View your vesting progress to see a summary of the GENE you’re staking, including pending rewards, the amount you’ve staked, and the remaining lock-up duration.
