We’re excited to announce the latest update for Genopets—version 1.1 is here, bringing new features to enhance your gameplay and more ways to earn Energy. Here’s what you can look forward to in this release:
Daily & Weekly Challenges
Get ready to take on daily and weekly challenges to earn fantastic rewards. Complete these tasks to receive items such as food, toys, and even Augments.
The challenges feature was created to encourage players to explore different aspects of the app, including Nurture, Arcade Mode, and Augmentation. The deeper you dive into the Genoverse, the more you will be rewarded through the Challenges feature.
We’ve updated the app homepage to accommodate this new feature—just click on the Challenges icon on the left side to open the feature and view challenges and their associated rewards. Make sure to complete the daily challenges, such as banking 5,000 steps or applying a Lume Crystal, before time expires or live with regrets.
Streaks: Consistency is Key!
The latest app update includes a new streaks feature, designed to reward consistent effort. By banking steps consistently, you can build up a streak and earn additional Energy. The longer your streak, the more Energy you’ll receive.
This new feature is a great way to stay motivated and keep your Genopet thriving. To access this feature, click on the Steps Streaks icon on the left side of the app homepage and monitor your streak progress. You’ll also be able to claim Energy rewards for earning Milestone Badges.
Energy Adjustments
With the introduction of challenges and streaks, we’ve made some adjustments to the Energy earned from banking steps—these updates were noted in the Energy 2.0 proposal. While these changes will affect your Energy earnings from banking steps, don’t stress. Completing all your challenges and maintaining your streaks on top of banking your steps daily will allow you to earn EVEN MORE Energy than before.
Bug Fixes
We’ve worked hard to address the issues causing the app to crash. You should now experience smoother performance and a more reliable experience overall.
